BTSym'26 - Call for Papers
Dear Researcher.
The BTSym’26 organizing committee invites researchers to attend and submit papers addressing the current research topics of interest. In 2026, the event after three days in duration, on October 14th, 15th and 16th, at the Centro de Tecnologia da Informação Renato Archer, Campinas-SP (from 9:00am to 10:00pm). Proceedings of the event will be published by the Springer Nature publisher through the book Proceedings of the 12th Brazilian Technology Symposium – Emerging Trends and Challenges in Technology, and this book will be published in the series “Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies”.
Indexing: The books of this series “Smart Innovation, Systems and Technologies” are submitted to ISI Proceedings, EI-Compendex, SCOPUS, Google Scholar and Springerlink.
Call for Papers
The Brazilian Technology Symposium, is an excellent forum for presentations and discussions of the latest results of projects and development research, in several areas of knowledge, in scientific and technological scope.
This event seeks to bring together researchers, students, and professionals from the industrial and academic sectors to create and/or strengthen ties across topics of common interest, focusing on research that utilizes, creates, and applies diverse technologies to solve problems in their research areas. We invite researchers or academics to submit research articles, case studies, and studies showcasing the methodologies and results obtained in scientific-level research projects, undergraduate dissertations, and master’s or doctoral theses.
Authors are invited to submit a work in the form of a research article illustrating research results, projects and industrial experiences that describe significant advances in the following topics (but not limited to):

Publications Options
For papers submitted to BTSym’25, we offer publishing as follows:
- Option A – Publication in Conference Proceedings of Springer Nature: After peer reviewed by at least 2-3 experts, all the accepted papers will be published into International Proceedings published by Springer Nature, in the form of a book. This process of publishing is limited to 60 papers between Brazil and Peru (10 pages per paper, including all figures, tables, and references).
- Option B – Publication in Conference Proceedings of BTSym’25: After peer reviewed by at least 2-3 experts, all the accepted papers will be published into national Proceedings published by LCV (Laboratory of Visual Communication). This process of publishing does not have submission amount limitation. Paper submission should be between 3 to 6 pages. Paper extending 1 or 2 pages at most will also be considered.
Rules
- Articles should preferably be submitted with a maximum of 10 pages. Each author is limited to no more than 2 submissions to the BTSym’26, which he/she is an author or co-author.
- Articles should be preferably submitted in English to the Conference Proceedings of BTSym’26.
- Authors and Attendees will receive BTSym’26 certificates.
- Among all approved submissions, probably some articles will be invited to make an oral presentation with approximate time of 10 minutes, as speaker in the BTSym’26 discussion panels (in development). The BTSym 2026 official language is English. However, authors may present their papers in Portuguese.
- The approved articles, not invited to make an oral presentation, will be invited to make an poster presentation of your article in the poster section. In this case, in addition to the article to be published, the author should develop a poster.
- Author Ethics and Copyright: To ensure objectivity and transparency in research and to ensure that accepted principles of ethical and professional conduct have been followed, authors should include information regarding sources of funding, potential conflicts of interest (financial or non-financial), informed consent if the research involved human participants, and a statement on welfare of animals if the research involved animals. In this case, organizers will reject such submissions and remove them from Conference Proceedings. - Plagiarism Policy: Plagiarism can be unintentional or intentional when ideas, figures, data, and creative work are used but not cited in academic, professional, and personal work; you should properly cite a reference to the original work. We are profoundly aware that high-quality scholarly research is highly demanded. Due to this, we take reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occurred, including plagiarism, citation manipulation, data falsification/fabrication, and Self-plagiarism. Note: The submitted manuscript is checked from licensed plagiarism software like Turnitin.
Submission Instructions
All submissions will be peer reviewed and evaluated based on originality, technical and/or research content/depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. Submissions will be chosen based on technical merit, interest, applicability, and how well they fit a coherent and balanced technical program. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Hence any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated.
- For papers submitted to option A and B: Prospective authors are kindly invited to submit full text papers including results, tables, figures and references. Full text papers (.pdf, .doc) will be accepted via Electronic submission system at Proceedings of the 12th Brazilian Technology Symposium (BTSym’25).
